Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

The speed is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

This is the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does inform your assessment.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, with regulation, withdrawals, pricing, more infoclick here and the bonus more info terms, is at TradeTheDay.
